Financial Information

The cost for orthodontic treatment is determined by the degree of difficulty, the length of time and the materials necessary for the correction. After braces, a 1-3 year retention follow-up is included in your treatment fee. Fees vary as each patient presents a different set of orthodontic problems that require an individualized treatment plan.

Our goal is to make orthodontic treatment affordable. For your convenience, we do all the insurance paperwork and file claims for you. Our staff insurance coordinator will gladly assist you in determining your insurance benefits prior to initiating treatment.

We are flexible in tailoring payment plans (without finance charge) according to your needs. It is very common for more than one family member to be in treatment at the same time.

Will my Flexible Spending Account cover my braces?

Many employers offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) which allow you to set aside a portion of your paycheck in order to pay for qualified medical expenses.

The money you decide to set aside is deducted from your paycheck and transferred directly into your FSA. After incurring eligible medical costs, you can then submit your receipt for reimbursement from your FSA.

The good news is that orthodontic treatment usually qualifies for FSA reimbursement. If your employer offers FSA and you know you'd like to invest in a nicer smile and straighter teeth, plan ahead and consult your benefits department. In the long run, you'll save money while getting all the benefits the Damon System has to offer.
